Our launch at the Beaches Jazz Festival had a successful result – that being the positive response we received from all walks of women in this city.  Our pink booth attracted women (and men) of all ages, especially older women who instantly understood the value of our little bracelet and bought some for their daughters, nieces and friends.  Our first day we encountered the hottest day of the year, with temperatures soaring above 100 with the humidex, but once the sun went down the masses swarmed the streets for some great music and interesting vendors.  On Saturday night the heavens opened up but this was actually good for us – many people sought shelter under our tent and once there the conversation flowed.  Many men found Feby fascinating and exclaimed it actually helped them understand their women a little better.
